Slow Monday is an optional extra night at Wild Rice Retreat designed for guests who want a little more time to rest, read, and ease back into everyday life after the retreat ends.

There’s no formal programming or facilitation — just one more cozy day to:

• sleep in

• enjoy amazing food

• read

• visit the sauna

• walk the trails

• enjoy the lake views

• share slow conversations with new friends

• savor the quiet before heading home

For many guests, the retreat can feel like it goes by too quickly. Slow Monday creates space to linger a little longer and leave feeling grounded instead of rushed.

Slow Monday includes

• One additional night in your retreat accommodations (Sunday–Monday)

• Access to Wild Rice Retreat amenities and classes during your stay

• Continued time to relax and connect with fellow retreat guests who also choose to stay

This reading retreat add-on night is limited and available exclusively to retreat guests as an optional extension of their stay.

Payment Plan

Your initial purchase is a 50% deposit that reserves your spot. The remaining balance will be invoiced 75 days before the retreat and must be paid in full by the invoice due date to maintain your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations requested more than 75 days before the retreat are eligible for a refund minus a $200 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 75 days of the retreat are nonrefundable. If we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist, we may be able to offer a partial refund at our discretion.
